經文：「我巳經為你祈求，叫你不至於失了信心。」（路22:32） 基督徒，當心你的信心，因為只有信心能使你得著天上來的祝福。甚至禱告也不能從神的寶座上得著甚麼，除非你的禱告有信心。 信心是連接天地之間的電線；藉著它我們可以傳達我們的請求給神，神可以傳達祂愛的答應給我們。如果信心的電線斷了，我們又怎能得到神的答應呢？ 我現在正處在患難中間麼？我可以藉著信心得到幫助；我現在將被仇敵打敗了麼？我可以藉著信心躲在大元帥的身後。但若沒有了信心，我便無法呼求神；如果這唯一的通天之路阻塞了，我又該如何和神溝通呢？ 所以是信心使我能和天接觸，使我能披戴耶和華神的能力，使「神...幫助我們」（羅八31）。也是信心使我消滅陰間的勢力，使我踐踏惡者的巨蛇。想想若是一旦失了信心，我真不知會到甚麼地步。所以，基督徒，當心你的信心；請記得「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能。」（可9:23）--司布眞 C. Scripture: "I have prayed that your own faith may not fail" (Luke 22:32). Christian, take good care of thy faith, for recollect that faith is the only means whereby thou canst obtain blessings. Prayer cannot draw down answers from God's throne except it be the earnest prayer of the man who believes. Faith is the telegraphic wire which links earth to Heaven, on which God's messages of love fly so fast that before we call He answers, and while we are yet speaking He hears us. But if that telegraphic wire of faith be snapped, how can we obtain the promise? Am I in trouble? I can obtain help for trouble by faith. Am I beaten about by the enemy? My soul on her dear Refuge leans by faith. But take faith away, then in vain I call to God. There is no other road betwixt my soul and Heaven. Blockade the road, and how can I communicate with the Great King? Faith links me with Divinity. Faith clothes me with the power of Jehovah. Faith insures every attribute of God in my defense. It helps me to defy the hosts of hell. It makes me march triumphant over the necks of my enemies. But without faith how can I receive anything from the Lord? Oh, then, Christian, watch well thy faith. "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." --C. H.
